Biography
David Older is a Fund Manager and Head of Equities. He has also been appointed as a Director of Carmignac UK Ltd.
David joined Carmignac in 2015 as a Senior Fund Manager with a specialism in global technology, telecoms and media. In 2017, he was appointed Head of Equities and in September 2018, he became Fund Manager for Carmignac Investissement and for the equity portfolio of Carmignac Patrimoine. Before joining Carmignac, David Older spent 12 years at SAC Capital/Point72 Advisors in New York, as co-Sector Head of the Communications, Media, Internet and Technology team. Prior to this, David was an Investment Banking Associate in the Communications and Media group at Morgan Stanley. David received a Bachelor of Arts at McGill University and holds a MBA from Columbia University.
